Rogue Training
Before we even get started on what to train in, you need to
decide what type of rogue you want to be. There are three main types of rogues,
with branches stemming out from each of them. These types are the ambushing
rogue, the picking rogue and the magic rogue. It is possible to mix and match
these categories as much as you want to find the perfect rogue. The following
is what I recommend. The numbers in brackets next to the skill are the training
points required listed as physical/mental. If there are two sets of numbers,
the first is for singling in the skill, second is for the total recommended.

2x Egded Weapons [3/1, 9/3]
1-2x Combat Maneuvers [4/5, 12/15]
3x Stalking/Hiding [1/1, 7/7]
2x Ambush [1/2, 3/6]
1x Physical Training [3/0]
1x First Aid [1/3]
2x Perception [0/1, 0/3] (After 60 or so ranks you can drop to singling)
1-2x Picking [1/1, 3/3] (2x if you want to be a decent picker)
1-2x Disarming [1/1, 3/3] (Same as picking)

1x Brawling [3/2] (Very necessary if you ever plan on field picking, plus a nice redux skill)
1x Climbing [2/1] (Every other year if points require, nice redux skill)
1x Swimming [2/0] (Same as climbing)

Mana Share [0/25] (Up to 50 skill in this is very useful, probably better to save this for later)
Magic Item Use [0/7] (I'd get at least 5-7 ranks by the time you're titled)
Scroll Use [0/6] (Somewhat useful, 24 ranks is all you ever need)
Picking Pockets [1/0] (Purely up to you, but train often if you want to be any good)
